Consejos para tener una buena higiene íntima masculina

Tips for good intimate hygiene

Currently in Western countries, intimate male hygiene is mainly based on using toilet paper after going to the WC.

However, in other cultures, this "dry cleaning" (to put it mildly, because it is not at all any wash) is not well seen, since the intimate area is also washed with water after each deposition.

If we analyze it well, using only toilet paper after performing our needs is not exactly the most hygienic, since toilet paper does not clean, just removes the most important part of the remains of feces, but there is still a part and it is not hygienic that those remains (even if they are not seen) are there, because of the number of bacteria that contain, in addition to the bad smell they generate.

There's nothing worse than having a date with someone and unwanted odors appearing in intimate areas. Even if you have a stable partner, don't let those odors have a bad effect on your partner.

So our recommendation would always be a wash after each deposition. If you are at home, it is ideal to do intimate washing in a bidet, but if you do not have a bidet, you can do the washing of the intimate area in your shower or bathtub quickly.

Nowadays toilet cups are also popping up with a built-in jet that you can also use. But if you don't have that jet or a by-room shower in your water cup, there's absolutely nothing going on. You can wash your intimate area in the bidet or shower.

Tips for good intimate hygiene include:

  1. Wet the intimate area with water, either in the bidet, in the conventional shower or if you have an extra shower next to the toilet, too.
  2. Apply an intimate hygiene gel or intimate soap with pH adapted to the intimate male area. This is very important, since men in the intimate area have a pH different from women, as we explained in other articles.
  3. Rub well to remove dirt and rinse with plenty of water to remove intimate soap.
  4. Rubbing should be done with care to avoid possible unwanted injury to the penis or testicles. If possible, use an intimate sulfate-free soap to make it more respectful and avoid possible skin irritation, even more so if washed frequently.
  5. Dry well with a towel before putting on your underwear, to prevent traces of moisture from remaining and thus avoid the appearance of fungi.

Good intimate hygiene after each deposition will allow you on the one hand to save on toilet paper, avoid odors in the intimate area, and thus prevent problems of bacteria from feces that may come into contact with our skin.
